Ziva Foundation Library

ZIVA Foundation owns a well stocked library where trainees do their studies and borrow reading material. A wide variety of e-books is also available to trainees. The Foundation also encourages students to purchase main/key textbooks such as field guidebooks and recipe books relevant to their course as they are very important in their chosen career.

Over the years Ziva’s Library has used the newest equipment and technologies to make books, journals and other information accessible to trainees.  These tools have evolved through the years.  A library card system has been replaced with online catalog with significant collections available electronically. Early techniques for photocopying and microfilming materials have been eclipsed by digital scanning services.

The specialist library excellently equipped with classics and current specialist literature, offers the best possible conditions to trainees as well as trainers.

The specialist library is situated directly in the building block of the training centre, our students never need to go far to get there.

There is even a book scanner which the trainees have liberty to use for.

There are more than 100 individual workplaces available. Assessment and exam candidates have an individual workplace reserved for a certain period of time.

Workgroups work together in a quiet environment in group workrooms.

There are PC terminals with internet access available for all trainees in the PC room. Through a connection with the WIFI network, trainees can access the internet also via their own notebooks, tablets and/or smart phones.

The specialist staff of the library tend be glad to assist trainees and trainers during opening hours and will help find literature for instance.
